One Windy Day
It was so windy outside my puddle almost flew away. Of course the best thing to do on a windy day is fly a kite. My friends and I didn't feel like waddling all the way to Wal-Mart to buy a kite so we thought of a better idea. We made a make-shift parachute out of table clothes, hemp and ribbon. The ribbon and hemp was wrapped around our shoulders and when the wind was just right we would run down the hill and jump into the air. The wind caught the parachute just perfectly and would lift us. It was wonderful and I can't wait for the next windy day!

Friends in Far Places
I'm just chillin' in my puddle reading a book for class with my virtual fireplace crackling away and I'm looking forward to tonight, when my friends, who traveled to India for thanksgiving break, will be back! I cannot wait to hear their stories and talk to them about the experience! I'm sure it was a great one. Me and my friends have definitely caught the mission trip/traveling bug.

Encounter at the gym
I was splashing around in my puddle when my friend came up to me and asked if I wanted to play some volleyball. I thought that sounded like something fun to do, so we checked out a volleyball from the local gym and as we were waddling toward the net a strange bird ran by me and stole the volleyball. It was our bible study leader, but boy was that scary!

Maiwage
I left my puddle yesterday to snatch a quick lunch snack with my friends. As I was wondering around looking for food I saw someone who looked very familiar. It's almost like I knew him on a personal level, but I couldn't figure out where I knew him from. Then I remembered. The weekend before, I stowed away on a bus going to Yoke camp. On the bus the children kept chanting for a wedding to take place on the bus (apparently this is a Yoke tradition) The man was picked and then one kid ran to the back of the bus, picked me up and announced that I was going to be the bride. So, I got proposed to and married right on that bus... and that guy I saw while I was looking for food, was my husband.

Childish Adventures
I was splashing around in my puddle with my friend today waiting for my green bean casserole to finish before my Advent bible study. The sun was so nice and warm that we decided to explore the campus. We found a playground, and that's when it all began... First, we rode dinosaurs around until we found an abandoned jeep. Turns out the jeep still worked so we took it for a spin, my friend drove so fast that I fell out but she reversed and retrieved me just in time because an angry mob started chasing us for no reason. We found a secret path that led us away from the mob, but right into a two charging beasts. We tamed them and brought them to the zoo where the zookeeper let us fly on a magic carpet and feed the animals. One of the animals bit my friend's arm off, so we had to rush to the ambulance. She almost didn't live, but luckily she was revived just in time for us to find an X in the sky. We followed the X and found a box of treasure, healing pixy dust and a special ingredient for our casserole. There was an evil bear guarding the treasure but we were able to grab the box and escape just as the bear was waking up. We ran away, my friend got shot (luckily we had the healing pixy dust), and then we found the medicine man of the city walking by. We had a short conversation with him and then ran into the dorm to put the special ingredient on our casserole. We finished the casserole and headed to the church.

The beginning of it all
As I was splashing around in my puddle today I realized that even though I'm a duck I have some pretty random things that I encounter during my day. I was browsing through www.mylifeisaverage.com and decided that I would use technology to tell the world what life looks like through my eyes. So, here goes...
